Your introduction to Dubrovnik begins with a cable car ride to the top of mount Srđ where you will be treated to a panoramic view of Dubrovnik, its Historical Centre, and the nearby islands and surrounding hills. On returning to the main Cable Car Station, your guide will lead you through the Old Town of Dubrovnik. While there you will have a tour that covers all the major sights of Dubrovnik’s Old City. These sights include: Stradun, Onofrio’s Fountain, St. Saviour’s church, the church of St Blaise, the Cathedral, Rector’s Palace; Sponza Palace, Orlando’s Column and many more. Operating hours of the Cable car vary depending on the month of the year (January: 09 - 16 h; February - March: 09 - 17 h; April: 09 - 20 h; May: 09 - 21 h; June/July/August: 09 - 24 h; September: 09 - 22 h; October: 09 - 20 h; November: 09 - 17 h; December: 09 - 16 h). Note that if the speed of the wind exceeds the safety threshold on any part of the cable car route, the cable car will stop until the wind speed reduces. In the case of possible lightning, the cable car will temporarily cease operations.
